AWAZ Fellowship

Introduction:

“Women in Leadership” is an initiative of the Youth General Assembly that aims to foster women’s participation across leadership roles in all spheres of society. This project is committed to creating a supportive ecosystem for women to lead, influence, and drive transformative change in their communities and institutions.

Vision:

To nurture a generation of empowered women leaders who contribute to inclusive development and inspire systemic change at all levels.

Belief:

We believe that increasing women’s presence in leadership roles is key to building equitable societies. Women leaders bring empathy, resilience, and a unique approach to problem-solving that enriches institutions.

Aim:

The project aims to build the leadership capacity of women through training, mentorship, and visibility while challenging societal barriers that limit women’s leadership potential.

Objectives:

  • Develop leadership skills among young women across sectors.
  • Create mentorship opportunities with women role models and leaders.
  • Promote gender balance in leadership and decision-making bodies.
  • Encourage public and private institutions to adopt women-inclusive policies.
  • Organize leadership summits, workshops, and campaigns highlighting women’s achievements.
