Fahad Shahbaz is a lawyer working at the intersection of law, governance and public policy in Pakistan. He is the Managing Partner at Rehnuma Law, where he advises national institutions, public authorities and senior leadership on legal, legislative and policy matters.

At the age of eighteen, he founded the Youth General Assembly, which has grown into a leading national platform engaging and connecting young people across Pakistan in civic participation, policy dialogue and leadership development.

He holds a Master of Laws from the University of Law and has further pursued academic training in International Law at the Hague Academy of International Law, Public Policy Economics at the University of Oxford, and Politics, Economics and Social Policy at the University of Cambridge. His academic background reflects a strong focus on governance, institutional development and reform.

He currently serves as the Focal Person Prime Minister’s Youth Programme, where he leads national initiatives focused on youth empowerment, institutional improvement and public sector innovation, working closely with public sector stakeholders to strengthen systems and outcomes.

Fahad is a recipient of the Diana Award and a member of the Global Shapers Community of the World Economic Forum. He has represented Pakistan at leading international platforms including the Commonwealth, the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation, the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation, BRICS and United Nations, contributing to discussions on governance, youth development and international cooperation.

Through his work in legal reform, civic leadership and public policy, he continues to contribute to Pakistan’s socio-legal landscape and is regarded as one of the promising young leaders of his generation.
