Youth General Assembly is proud to announce its new project “50 Years of the Constitution”. The initiative aims to commemorate the golden jubilee of the Constitution of Pakistan, which represents a significant milestone in the history of our nation. It is an opportunity for us to reflect on the values enshrined in our constitution and to renew our commitment to uphold them. The initiative has the potential to make a significant impact in promoting civic education and increasing young people’s awareness of their rights and responsibilities as citizens.
Seminar on 50 Years of Constitution
The Youth General Assembly organized a seminar in the Lahore High Court to mark the completion of 50 years of the Constitution of Pakistan. The seminar was attended by prominent figures such as Ishtiaq A. Khan (President of Lahore High Court Bar Association), Rabia Bajwa (Vice President of Lahore High Court Bar Association), Fahd Shahbaz (President of Youth General Assembly), Barrister Aamir Hassan (Leader of Pakistan Peoples Party), Barrister Muhammad Ahmad Pansota, Shah Rukh Shahbaz Warraich, Barrister Muhammad Amer Zafar, Barrister Taimoor Malik, Rana Asadullah Khan, Sahibzada Mazhar Ali, Ghazal Khan, and Kamran Shakoor.
Panel Discussion on 50 Years of Constitution
Youth General Assembly, in collaboration with Lahore School of Law, organized a panel discussion on the topic of “50 Years of the Constitution: Dreams & Realities” to reflect upon the past 50 years of our constitution and the journey towards realizing our dreams as a nation. We were joined by Mr. Irfan Qadir, Mr. Ahmed Bilal Mehboob, Mr. Mujeeb Ur Rehman Shami & Mr. Yasir Pirzada. The discussion was moderated by Barrister Muhammad Ahmad Pansota.
